Selling at a farmers market can offer a variety of benefits, including:

• Direct contact with customers. The Calais Farmers market is a great place to build relationships with new and old customers alike. Get real time feedback out which products they love & what they could maybe do without. Customer loyalty starts with outreach. Meet them where they are! 

• Marketing. We'll do our best to promote your locally grown/made products which has an ancillary benefit too. It supports the local economy! Markets also help to reduce the carbon footprint associated with trucking food long distances.

• Fewer losses. Farmers markets allow farmers to sell more produce and, over time, that leads to less waste and higher profit margins.

• Networking opportunities. Many of our vendors enjoy the opportunity to network while selling. We share resources, knowledge, and friendships. This is an immeasurable benefit that assists in long term viability. 

• Health and wellness. Lastly, we promote healthy eating habits by providing fresh and nutritious food that is grown without the use of pesticides and other harmful chemicals.

1.  Read our guidelines and by-laws and if your'e cool with a few necessary rules and regs, fill out and digitally sign the Sunrise County Farmer's Application. ===>

2. Once approved, you'll pay your Membership Dues here online.  Remember, there's a small weekly booth fee during the season that serves to generate a little revenue for administrative stuff.  It's money well spent. (Consider it an incredible ROI!) 

3. Lastly, provide the CFM with lots of good information about your farm and what you produce & we'll share it with the world!
